For more than 40 years, Cherokee Nation Industries (CNI) has operated as a government contractor in aerospace and defense manufacturing. The first of the Cherokee Nation's for-profit companies, CNI has a performance history with the Department of Defense, supplying valuable parts to organizations such as Boeing, Lockheed Martin, Sikorsky and NASA’s International Space Station. CND
The aerospace and defense business unit is a contract manufacturer and integrator of electro-mechanical assemblies. CND has a work force of more than 150 skilled employees. With locations in Stillwell and Pryor, Okla., the core business is comprised of distribution, kitting and manufacturing of:

Cherokee Nation Metalworks
Cherokee Nation Metalworks (CNMW) manufactures fabricated details and assemblies for commercial and military aircraft as well as various missile and unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) programs. Capabilities include computer numerical control (cnc) machining, metal forming and manufacturing.
