Cherokee Nation Construction Services awarded $1.1 million contract

Cherokee Nation Construction Services was recently awarded a $1.1 million delivery order to provide services to renovate training rooms at Dover Air Force Base in Dover, Del.

Renovation of the rooms will consist of demolition, installing HVAC systems, architectural design and extending the fire protection systems.

“We’re very excited to continue our new partnership with Dover Air Force Base,” said Cheryl Cohenour, president of CNB’s environmental and construction division. “This latest contract reflects the stellar reputation of our employees and the high quality of work we deliver.”

This project has a short period of performance. The delivery order and notice to proceed were awarded last month, and the work must be complete by July 1 of this year.

This is the second delivery order that CNCS has received from Dover AFB within the past six months. The first contract was a $5.7 million delivery order awarded this past November for renovations and repairs to Facility 722 at Dover AFB, Delaware.
